Florida had a kid (Ramon Buchanan from Palm Bay) who originally commited to Miami this summer then switched to UF a couple weeks ago and then switched back on NSD to Miami.

However, one need only look at the late years of the Spurrier era to realize what a lacksadaisical approach to recruiting can do to a program. It doesn't show up in the starting lineups as much at a major program, but it severely affects the depth of teams.Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02452158972739021104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8899683.post-76026107074575477532008-02-08T10:59:00.001-05:002008-02-08T10:59:00.001-05:00Attaboy...Attaboy...T.J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/17519941093549398451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8899683.post-20497601029116242542008-02-08T10:59:00.000-05:002008-02-08T10:59:00.000-05:00That's a good summary. No doubt that it's important, but it's not quite as important as people make it out to be. My breaking point was when I was watching one of those HS AS games on my 2nd TV and some kid had a bunch of hats in front of him. I was hoping he'd pick the Florida hat. So he picked on up, then put one down. Then he did it again. Then he picked up the 3rd hat. Then he put it down. Then he pulled out a hidden 4th hat and put it on his head.

For those 5 seconds I was really hoping he'd put on the Florida hat. Then I realized that I was getting jerked around by some 17 year old kid who's on TV. And it pissed me off. Nonetheless, I try to stay somewhat informed of the goings on.Jerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08546802304698812963noreply@blogger.com
